We didn’t know each other (apart from being in the same secret WhatsApp group) but I said ‘yeah, sure!’. So she got her plane ticket to Montreal and we did just that. We spent 10 days skating and talking and going to the museum. And we had the best time. The more I grow up and the more I realize how special figure skating is for that. How you can connect with people from such different places and background yet having such similar lives. All connected by the love of the ice. Till next time 🫀
