A good day with a few interesting turns! Went to Old Goat's reopening in a new space! They're in the 147yo yellow brick building with tin ceilings and stained glass that Marbles used to be in, in Uptown Waterloo Such a perfect spot for a favourite used book store.

If you listened yesterday morning, you know my shout-out was the KW Greek Food Festival! I stopped in & picked up a souvlaki platter, spanakopita & my FAVOURITE loukomades. Great seeing so many people enjoying the dancing and food! It's on tomorrow, too!

Me, in a red dress, and Lou (never got his surname) standing with the portrait of Rabbie Burns. Lou is a dapper older gentleman in his kilt, sporran, vest, white shirt and bow tie. And what a smile!
And this handsome and brave lad, Lou, took me in hand and whirled me about the room and taught me how to dance the Tam o'Shanter.
I think it was a passable first try :)
