Small correction: AC1 *does* have air assassination… in a way. It’s a bit convoluted though compared to future AC games since you have to perform an assassination in the middle of a jump while you’re locked on to the target. It’s how you’re meant to kill one of the targets.

Never realized that guards just don’t check the hiding spots in AC1 when they’re chasing you. That and guards remembering you’re an actual threat are some of those AC2 improvements that flew over my head.

One small complaint that I have about AC1 is that starting with the second set of assassination targets the map for some reason doesn’t give you a viewpoint location. Not even if you have gotten every viewpoint in a district.

You know I just realized something. For being the game that introduced social stealth, there isn’t really any actual social stealth in AC1. The only actual social stealth in this game is hiding via sitting on a bench.
