Finished the 'Animal Attacks' section of 'Criminolly presents Garbology' and, with it, the book. Bucking the trend with only 2 Pool Room stories this time:
1. Grunts by Ian Laskey
2. Manhunt by Selene MacLeod
Didn't finish by the 31st, but I'm counting it anyway lol.

Finally reached Olly's story in 'Criminolly presents Garbology'.
'TrashGPT' is an unashamedly cliché meta-fiction that had me in stitches the entire time. This has to be the most fun story in this book so far. It's definitely going in the Pool Room.

“Passion ignites amid sweat and sawdust!”
My #GarbAugust reading continues with “A Forbidden Rumspringa,” by Keira Andrews. I know there’s a ton of Amish romance novels, but GAY? Oh, this I have got to see. Some dude’s gonna take off his hat and cause the other dude to faint, I bet. #books
One of the GarBingo squares for the #GarbAugust reading event is "Sequel No One Asked For." I'm not sure if prequels count, but I'm claiming the square for Brian Herbert & Kevin J. Anderson's "Dune: The Butlerian Jihad" anyway. It's like fan fiction that gets to be canon. #books
Today I started #GarbAugust book 2, The Glass Inferno, continuing my theme of the books behind Irwin Allen's 70s theatrical disaster movies.

Yesterday when I posted about #GarbAugust I said we had bingo but didn't post the card.
Here is this year's GarBingo!

I'm kicking off the month with the two novels that were the basis of the movie The Towering Infernos:
- The Tower by Richard Martin Stern
- The Glass Inferno by Thomas N. Scortia & Frank M. Robinson
If you want to join in the fun there are theme weeks and a bingo card. #GarbAugust
