I am amazed every year at how beautiful these flowers are. I wish they lasted longer. #Garden_Walk

Breakfast #Garden_Walk #gardening
A zucchini, just about perfect size for picking, perched in the plant with several flowers.
A green bell pepper plant with a few peppers close to being ready.
A jalapeño plant with a couple of small peppers
The first tomato to start ripening would be a Juliet.
Today's #Garden_Walk featuring the veggies.
These two together. 🤌 #Garden_Walk #gardening
Pluots hanging in the tree. They are just starting to ripen. The one in the center has a visibly blush stripe.
A pair of Honeycrisp apples in a mesh bag to try to keep them from getting eaten by other critters besides me
A horrible blackberry branch almost as thick as my thumb. I wish they would all die. The juice ain't worth the squeeze.
A maple leaf that may be the harbinger of autumn. I'm not reaady.
Plums are good this year. #gardening #Garden_Walk
Sweet cherries(Lapins) in a mesh bag to try to discourage the critters. Many are dying of fungal diseases. Cherries just don't like me.
Plums that are still green. They are coming along.
Honeycrisp apples in a mesh bag to try and discourage the critters. They are months away from ripening.
Paw paw fruit. Barely set. A long way from maturity. I won't eat it anymore anyway, so if it doesn't ripen before the first freeze, meh.
Goumi berries
Immature Aronia berries
A green fig
Sumac
I know everything is on fire, but there is still good in the world. And it is worth fighting for.
And there are still #Garden_Walk pictures to take.
My flowering dogwood with a photo bomb from Pippin.
One thing I like about goumi berries is that they ripen over a long period and not all at once.
Oyster mushrooms with a visit from a #carnivorous plant to catch some of the fruit flies.
Some #Garden_Walk pics.
Some delicious smelling lilacs holding on
Ooooh, future blueberries.
Another rhody. Light purple with a bit of spotted, yellow tongue.
A wave of white viburnum with a purple smoke bush branch in front.

Smoke bush flower buds.
Rhody flowers. Pale pink with bright pink stamens. I caught a local bee in the flower.
I find paw paw flowers fascinating. Opening green, then turning deep purple. Like a mini tulip. I am told they smell like bad meat to attract beetles to pollinate them, but I don't smell anything.
A canopy of wisteria blossoms.
Oh yeah, #Garden_Walk time.
A compact bunch of white flowers on an Ash
A bunch of vibrant red rhododendron flowers
A lilac colored rhododendron with a dark purple spotted tongue
Bunches of pink flowers on variegated weigela
A tomato plant in an upside down planter, just escaping from under the flat spot.
A partially back-lit, white rhododendron flower
A bunch of flowers on an Aronia berry bush
A bush(viburnum?) covered in waves of small white flowers
Wisteria is starting to flower
A volunteer ash grew up where my choke cherry died. Can't decide if I want to keep it.
Damn squirrels from the looks of it. Always some critter trying to mess with me. We'll try making things a little hotter.
My hand holding the branch of a fig tree with a few tiny figs the size of a pea.
A lilac inflorescence.
A different lilac inflorescence "sensation"
Part of my yard featuring a red rhody and a flowering crabapple.
Brilliant red rhododendron
