First time visiting the World Coal Carrying Championships in Gawthorpe West Yorks today. What an atmosphere, and what a feat of endurance. Absolutely loved it! Well done to everyone who competed, and to all of the amazing volunteers. You all did a fantastic job #Gawthorpe #CoalCarrying #Yorkshire

Today’s #DailyPendlePic from Gawthorpe. Pendle is hidden somewhere behind the cloud, the chimney is for the hall’s old steam boiler, no idea what has been done to the field!
