My addition when I shared the Bluesky post in the other image. It reads: The trans community is being treated as an acceptable loss or sacrifice in this. It's an easy choice, conscious or not, for many people because we make up about 1% of the overall population. Bigger communities can easily be louder. They have more ability to acquire more allies/accomplices and to do so faster. Just because your personal feed or fyp or whatnot has a lot of trans people and advocates raising hel about all of this doesn't mean the necessary effort is- going into defending trans people and their rights. We may be "only 1%, but we deserve to be defended, protected and advocated for just the same.
The ENTIRE #trans community deserves support & protection. All #transgender people need to be defended & advocated for. Not just one subsection.
