The 1000th participant to join the #GenerationStudy in Jessop Wing is Sam Coombes, 39:

"Often, the earlier you can detect conditions, the better the prognosis, so knowing this could potentially help my baby and others is reassuring.”

Jessop Wing Maternity Hospital have signed up their 1,000th participant to the world-leading #GenerationStudy which aims to screen 100,000 newborn babies in England for more than 200 rare genetic conditions.

If detected early, these conditions, can be treated. 1/2
