Gil Gerard Dies: Star Of ‘Buck Rogers In The 25th Century’ Was 82 Gil Gerard, the handsome hero of early-Eighties TV hit Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, died early this morning after a battle with cancer.

I just can't with this friggin' year. This man did as much to inspire my imagination with sci-fi adventures as anyone else in the industry - moreso than some. By all accounts a good man. He will be missed. #GiGerard #BuckRogers
