So I threw together a quick Thorna and Twigtooth blight deck.
After all, your #GiantAmbassador has to try out all the new guys

I am so bummed these two were not printed in paper, because their play pattern is SO FUN.
And it really makes those “enters with -1/-1 counter“ giants and trees shine

Messing around with a rough render, to figure out how I want the final piece to look

And even just the rough came out so pretty!

I don’t think he will be spectacular in anything. But a big vigilant 4/4 that gains you life and protects you from birds is pretty good.

Not really a good fit for most giants decks
But she would be a solid recursion piece in a go-wide little guys deck or a ‘big butts matter’ deck, like treefolk or Betor

My earlier #GiantAmbassador pieces, Primeval Titan and Bonecrusher, were packed with tiny details that I really enjoyed.
Like the upset horse or the Mardrid statue

But they didn’t really show in the final printed card art

I am still v proud of them. But for my next cards, I kept final size in mind

I ended up really digging this idea as a #Phyrexian Inferno Titan.
And took another pass to get the look right.

Ya know, I dont think I’ve ever drawn canon MTG dude Thryx

We have a Theros dnd campaign where Thryx is a woman, because that’s the giant mini we had.
So I just default to wife Thryx, lol

I am working on some are featuring her for my #GiantAmbassador project

Bearer of the Heavens {7}{R} Creature — Giant When this creature dies, destroy all permanents at the beginning of the next end step. To hold the heavens from the earth is no curse, but a titanic responsibility.

I gotta find a place to run this guy.

I used to run him in Kalemne as boardwipe deterrent/a very dumb combo if I had protection + a kill spell.
