#AsianLions (aka #IndianLions, Panthera leo persica) are smaller, with a distinct belly fold & shorter manes. 🏜️

Found only in India’s #GirForest, they’re more endangered than #AfricanLions, which roam savannas. 🦁🌿

African lions are bigger & have larger prides.
