Grenfell by Steve McQueen Opens in Glasgow March 2025 Steve McQueen’s film installation Grenfell, a stark reflection on the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire that claimed 72 lives, will open a three-year national tour at Glasgow’s Tramway on 8 March 2025. Running until 23 March, the free exhibition presents aerial footage of the tower, captured six months after the tragedy, before it was hidden behind hoarding. The work aims to ensure the disaster remains in the public eye, arriving at a time when the fire’s aftermath continues to stir debate.
