And I loved these tiny stone slab bridges, on the stalkers path up the Allt Lorgaidh, a tributary of the Feshie. The path has long since fallen into disuse and is only occasionally still visible on the ground, but these structures are still there. And they are […]

To be honest, we are starting from a very low base. It is, as you say, an empty ecosystem. Britain as a whole has been well and truly worn down. But, yes, some great examples #Dundreggan #GlenFeshie. The bogs and moors are filled with tree roots preserved in peat laid down 1000 years ago.
