The clack of Glisten's heels came to a stop at his bedroom door. It was just the two of them in the hallway. Goob just watched as Glisten smoothed down the front of his tight white skirt. “IIIIII had fun!” The fluffy craft squirmed in his spot, hands flopping up in front of him to clasp together. Those sweet eyes of his said everything Glisten needed to know. Glisten smirked. “Me too.” It fell into silence again but Glisten didn't feel awkward. In fact he ate every second up. Like a building anticipation, he already planned what he'd say. He just had to find the right moment. “When's the next time you're free?” Goob leaned in just a bit, smile growing to the point Glisten was sure it had to hurt. Glisten brushed the very tips of his fingers against Goob's arm. The other toon's eyes grew two sizes. “Anytime you want me, Gooby.” That smile turned wobbly quick, bashfully glancing away. “Okay…” He looked back at him just as a blush started peeking from underneath his fur. “Is tomorrow too soon?”
“I'd say it's too long!” Glisten put on a pout, fingers sliding to press his thumb to Goob's palm. Goob giggled, smile pursed but corners curled high. Eyes drifted down to their hands, his claws curled over and petted the back of Glisten's gently. “Don't be silly… you have to have you time too!” Glisten tisked. “You big ol’ meanie~” Goob shook his head softly, fur rippling from the movement. “...so tomorrow?” “Tomorrow.” After a beat of silence Goob took a step back but Glisten closed his hand around his wrist. “Hey, didn't you forget something?” His other hand came up to tap a finger on his lips. “Oh yeah!” Goob giggled as he cupped Glisten's cheek, but he didn't go in for the kiss. He just… stared at him, eyes drifting over every part of his face. And then, he SMILED. A small thing. The type of smile that spreads warmth throughout the viewer. The fluffy craft pressed his forehead ever so gently to Glisten. Glisten froze for a moment, even the air in his lungs seemed to stall. He could feel Goob's steady pulse through his thumbs, with each swish of ichor his eyes felt heavier until his eyes fluttered shut. Goob's soft sighs brushed against Glisten's face. They stood there for what could have been seconds or minutes. When Goob finally kissed him it was nothing more than a fleeting brush of the lips. Glisten almost thought he imagined it. He grabbed him by the tuft of fur on his chest when he tried to pull away. Goob's lips trembled against him. After a moment's hesitation Glisten led him through it, languid and frustratingly sweet. Goob had the dopyest look on his face for just a moment before it lit up in pure excitement and he flapped his hands wildly. “Hehe! Okay, by Glisten!” He waved behind him as he practically ran away. Glisten found himself staring at the place Goob was… The corners of his lips curled upwards and after a beat he made his way inside of his room with a shake of his head.

The first part of the Goob/Glisten fanfiction. It states "The first floors were always so easy. Between Roger, Glisten, and Connie they had finished extracting the machines in under 2 minutes. Goob seemed to have it easy as well. Easy enough to goof around… Glisten saw Goob running right by Connie, with twisted's in toe, everytime she was on a machine. Between the glass separating them, and the distance, Glisten couldn't tell what Connie was yelling but Goob just kept doing it. Laughing all the while. It got to the point where Glisten was scared Goob would do it to him, but it seemed Goob had some sense not to lead twisted's to him on account of his low stealth, because everytime Goob saw him he would turn around. Glisten was the first back to the elevator. With nothing around to entertain himself he leaned against the elevator wall. The last generator was done seconds after, Roger and Connie joined him in standing around, and soon enough Goob was rounding the corner. There were still 20 seconds left on the clock, ample time."
Continuation of the fic. It states. "The two of them only locked eyes for one second but all of a sudden Glisten got a bad feeling. He went to take a step back but before his foot could even touch the floor Glisten was yanked out of the elevator and into Goobs arms. Over Goob's shoulder the monsters growled and were mere inches from them. Glisten screamed and banged his fists against Goob's shoulders. “GOOOB! WHAT THE FUCK?! YOU'RE SUCH AN ASSHOLE!” It was only a couple seconds but it felt like Goob was parading him around like some kind of sacrifice. The elevator doors closing behind them had never sounded sweeter. Goob was still giggling as he set Glisten down. Glisten turned to Connie and Roger, who were also laughing??? Glisten crossed his arms with a huff. “This is not funny! You could have got me killed!” Goobs laughs settled down to a pleasant smile that made Glisten scowl. “I had you. You wouldn't have gotten hurt.” Glisten just glared at him for a few seconds before turning away from him. “Aaaaw Glis…” He didn't have to look to know Goob was standing right behind him, voice soft. “Don't be like that. I'm sorry.” He pressed his cheek to Glisten's temple, nuzzling gently. “You're right I shouldn't be fooling around. Even though it was such an easy floor.” "
Continued. It states "Glisten rolled his eyes, but with a wave of his hand he sighed. “Yes yes all is forgiven.” The second he spoke, Goob wrapped his arms several times around Glisten's stomach. “Gliiiiiiiis!” He pressed his pouting lips into Glisten's hairline. “I'll make it up to you! What do you want? A pretty rock? A new bow? A big kiss? Ummmmmmmmmm cuddles? Or a poem! Scraps says I'm good at poems!” “You write?” Glisten found himself more surprised than he was mad from earlier. “Yes!” Glisten felt Goob's smile grow against the side of his face. “All the time! It's fun!” Glisten turned in Goob's hold, eyebrow quirked upwards. “<i>You</i> write <i>poems</i>?” Goobed glanced away for a second. “That's what I said.” He was laughing again. Glisten couldn't keep the corner of his mouth from curving upwards. “Does that mean you want me to write you one?” Before Glisten could respond the elevator doors opened with a ding. Goob deflated into his boyfriend's arms. “Noooooooooo!” "
Continued. It states "Glisten let out a quiet chuckle and guided Goob's face from the crook of his neck. “You got this Gooby…” He brushed his thumb over the fur of his cheek. “You're my hero!” That one word was all it took to put a brilliant grin on his blushing face. He let go of Glisten and stood proud as ever. “Okay!” Goob was already two steps out of the elevator before Glisten grabbed his arm. “Let me go see who-” “Uh-uh not so fast~” Glisten fluttered his eyelashes up at Goob. “Let me give you a-” Goob scooped him up and planted a kiss on the mirror toon's lips, which Glisten melted into. Just seconds, or hours, of his soft fur on his palms. Glisten's fingers dug softly to press the tips against warm skin. But it was Goob probing at his bottom lip that had his legs trembling mid air. It ended way too soon. Goob put him back down on the ground, taking a moment to steady him. “Bye bye!” Glisten watched Goob skip away, tail wagging, and giggles fading as he came out of view. A long sigh left Glisten's wobbly lips. “Aren't you full of surprises…” "
