A color photographs taken on the streets of Midtown Manhattan during the early days of the pandemic. Madison Avenue and E. 57th St. is nearly deserted as a state wide shut down is in effect April 4, 2020. If you pedestrians are crossing the street, steam billows from esteem pipe exhaust dug out of the asphalt pavement. An overall cloudy day adds a bit of malaise to the scene as the view southbound down Madison Avenue reflects a somber and deserted New York City.
