There are 8 Rcons on the primary ballot. These two are the frontrunners though. (There was a Black rcon getting some attention for a while but he has faded.)

Cornyn is yesterday's crusty oatmeal, past his prime in every way, and Paxton is deeply corrupt, slimy & unlikeable.

Democrats want that seat.

Cornyn is VERY unpopular even with Republicons.

Paxton is slimy and unlikeable.

Both Crockett and Talarico have strong polls against Cornyn or Paxton.

We have a chance.
