Silver painted shale-back (Oscalvarii Argenteapictoratus) is a aquatic pursuit predator common to the shallows of The Cradle, stalking reefs & intertidal zones as sea level allows. Fast, aggressive fish fully capable of killing an adult goblin. They're also delicious.

Shu, an astronomer from the isles and a woman of standing among the high-houses of the Apikwam. Knowledgeable of the stars and planets by long nights spent gazing through a looking glass, charting the heavens in sketch. She's also a very impassioned if amateur poet.

The "Yaam" is a common domesticated animal, prized for its wool and fatty meat. They act as companion, livestock, or draft animal by circumstance, and can be found across Arcadia in great herds led by a "Ley", a larger elder female, usually a mother of many calves.

a distant cousin of the Boneheads of The Cradle, the easiest way to think of these fellas is "Wooly Mammoth Fused with Triceratops". They move in grand grazing herds across the south, their thunderous steps and ravenous appetites keeping the south a vast swath of cold grassland.

The Woolly Bonehead. A megafaunal herbivore endemic to The Great Steppe.
Its hump is both partly formed from the structural reinforcement & a massive reserve of fat & water during lean seasons. Many people's of the south build their lifeways around these creatures.

The Bonehead is a common sight on the plains and wetlands of The Cradle. Herbivores moving in vast herds across the the grassy expanses of Western Arcadia, grazing on the verdant wilds between The Lantern Grass Plains and The Glass Desert.

The Short-Horn Yop of The Isles (Yops Parvakeras), common to the conifer forests which speckle the mountains. A goblin (Gobo Sophos) for scale

The yop is a mid sized grazing animal roughly analogous to earth ungulates, anylers included. The term originates qith the Apikwam, refering origonally to species of The Cradle, but for our purposes it can refer to a wide array of animals from across this clade.

A woman from The Cradle, likely from a farming or fishing village, she has the common ethnographic feature of a short, stubby tail, which allows her to wear clothing without obstruction.

Anatomically modern goblins (Gobo Sophos, "Sage Goblin") are among the most prolific, though not only sapient creatures of Arcadia and beyond.

The Middle Kingdom is a nation of the western coast of Arcadia, brimmed on it's north by the mountains which isolate The Cradle. They're a major power in the region and the source of most of the tin used in bronze across the continent.

Wanted to add Honey to the Gobocene project in some form, so now we got this funny lil feller. Midu is literally the word for "Honey" with the feminine suffix attached (Mid + u). Also, yes, I did have to put this many triangles and if you try to stop me I'LL PUT MORE IN, DAMNIT

Midu, one of the Apikwam people of The Isles. Her clan runs a fine tavern in one of the many city states along The Cradle's coasts, serving wine, tea, and good foods to the traveler and townie alike.
