It felt a little foolish, to feel emboldened by them when he was doing something so small as gathering the courage to join a party, to face those cookies whom he had not seen in so very many years. He hadn't had the courage to go out and defeat the beast that had threatened them, one of the minor reasons for this party, and that had shamed him at the time. But White Lily Cookie was their Guardian, was she not? And they were all still here and alive and not crumbled into so much jam and crumbs and flour because of his actions so very long ago, were they not? That thought did give him some comfort, but only a little.

There were flower pots frothing with flowers high up on the walls, illuminated by sconces of flickering white flame set into melted down silverware. It was easy to forget, sometimes, that the faerie kingdom had been constructed largely out of things dropped from the Witches' table. Including the cookie that had been dropped from it, falling from the dough, falling back to Earthbread to be reborn, to undo the evils that the rest of her would bring to the world.

Before she could stop herself, White Lily brushed her lips over Golden Cheese's forelock where a tiny triangle was hidden, her Light of Abundance. Golden Cheese stirred in her arms, yet White Lily found herself unable to pull away, unable to let go of her. Their legs, she discovered now, were tangled together, Golden Cheese's thigh between White Lily's legs. It would be so easy to grind down on it, to close what little distance was there.

Chapter Text The rustle of feathers woke White Lily from her slumber, once more wrapped in Silent Salt's embrace. In the end, after Golden Cheese had sought her bed, White Lily had lain awake long into the night, deciding to forego intimate activities with Silent Salt when she had no faith in keeping herself quiet after the intimate preening. He had agreed, not wanting to ruin their preening job, and thus White Lily had been visited by erotic dreams of being sandwiched between the pair, the taste of salt and cheese one that she was desperate to try upon waking.
