Welcome to Goose Hollow 🪿

Fun fact: the name dates back to the 1800s, when the area was home to a large population of geese (yes… actual geese just wandering around like they owned the place).

The Bluebell Detective Agency mostly takes place in a Portland neighborhood named Goose Hollow. The neighborhood is home to some of my favorite places in SW. @boldcoffeeandbooks.bsky.social @timbers.com @timbersarmy.org #portland #goosehollow #pdx #portlandOR

Sticker on a planter of a demonic cat, with horns, curved fangs, an upside down cross between its eyes, and 666 on its forehead. Above it, it says “D.P.I.L.C.”, which is for a band of the same name. The acronym stands for Dane Petersen’s Illegitimate Love Child. Found on West Burnside next to the stadium Fred Meyer in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of Portland, OR, on March 1st, 2025.

#Sticker I found this morning in the #GooseHollow neighborhood of #PortlandOR near the stadium. It’s apparently for a band called D.P.I.LC. (Dane Petersen’s Illegitimate Love Child). #StreetArt #StickerArt #DemonicCats

Sticker that combines the likeness of Mr. T with the body of E.T., in that it looks like E.T. with Mr. T’s signature beard, Mohawk, earrings, and chains. In the background is a UFO with a beam of light being cast downward from it like a tractor beam. In the light is the artist’s name, Ace Troy (https://www.acetroy.com/). Found in the bathroom of the Commodore Lounge in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of Portland, OR on June 6th, 2018.

Photo of a series of stickers placed on street signs. They appear to be pages from a lightly illustrated dairy, possibly discussing their parents or children. Between the difficult to read handwriting, and the placement of the stickers partially behind the pole’s sign (making it impossible to fully view or photograph), it’s hard to discern much on the content or context. Author/artist unknown. This page includes an illustration of what appears to be a mother and daughter, standing side by side with one of their arms around each other. Found in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of Portland, OR on September 2nd, 2017.

Odd collection of #stickers that I encountered in the #GooseHollow neighborhood of #Portland on September 2nd, 2017. Stickers were placed partially behind the sign pole, making it impossible to fully read or photograph. Sort of seems like someone’s dairy. Author/artist unknown #StreetArt #StickerArt
