Review of Black Gold by Tony C Scott on Amazon Title: Bravery at 60 degrees north Review: Rollicking swaggering audacious delight - from the very first page when I realised that it wasn't a dismembered *fish* we were talking about. In fact pretty much the whole way through, it was gobsmacked joy at the absolute nerve of the writer "did he actually just do that?". There are magnificent set pieces deftly handled; the locations true to life; the characters are engaging and the dialogue pitch-perfect. And if the bad men are killed a little more than is really necessary - well that's all to the good, isn't it? Do the job properly, after all - as the man says "God save me from f****** amateurs".

Look what you're missing.

Mooring lines untied from Lerwick lifeboat  - The Shetland Times Lerwick Lifeboat’s crew discovered two mooring lines had been untied from the winches next to the Severn-class lifeboat.

#BlackGold features something similar happening to #GovFinnBlack 's boat.

Some readers have said it was an unrealistic to happen to him as that sort of thing wouldn't happen #Shetland.
