MACC opens investigation into government’s RM1.1 billion deal with foreign company KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has opened an investigation paper regarding an agreement between the Malaysian Government and a foreign company estimated to be worth RM1.1 billion. According to sources, among the follow-up actions being taken is calling several witnesses, including the Secretary-General of the ministry involved, to obtain clarification regarding the implementation of the agreement.
