A depiction of the Green Lion devouring the sun in alchemy found on Google Images. It’s used as a way to represent Aqua Regia, a specific nitric acid that, when Medieval European alchemists placed gold within it, would breakdown the gold chemically and the clear liquid would turn green. The gold used at the time contained some trace minerals of copper, and it’s believed that the copper was why Aqua Regia turned green during its decomposition stage.
Okay so I’m about to invoke the spirit of the #GreenLionofAlchemy using some #KitchenMagick within the next two weeks. It’s a small ritual that I need to make and prepare for but one big problem: I’ve never done a ritual before. Any suggestions from #witchsky?
