Yeh!!! Another moonshot: #GreenManhattanProject that would get us to safe, unlimited CLEAN energy! An SMR for each huge data center, cement plant and steel mill…and wait: container ship!
The only green energy that can fill every need aside accommodate all expansion is nuclear. #GreenManhattanProject.
@thegordiancut.bsky.social It is 12th hour for the planet, and way too late, but now…today, let’s roll!! Nuclear power in as near future as possible with a moonshot #GreenManhattanProject. Wind, solar etc. are fine for the moment to bridge, but FCS!! Nukes ASAP!!
At the time there were a few of us that saw it was actually a disaster because it held up developing #GreenManhattanProject and unlimited clean energy
If we had launched a moon shot #GreenManhattanProject in 1970, before climate change really started to bite, we’d have SMRs powering steel, cement plants data centers and container ships today with unlimited clean energy saving us today.
@oliver48.bsky.social Pretend that it’s 1969 and my fellow environmentalists did not block a nuclear energy moonshot #GreenManhattanProject. Yeh. Unlimited clean energy. Data centers, container ships, cement and steel plants all humming along with their own little SMRs.
Et cetera.
#GreenManhattanProject
We will do it sometime before the next century. #GetStartedNow
Hahahahahaha…yeh. All of those for the moment. Finale being SMRs. Ones individually dedicated to cement plants, steel smelters, data centers…etc. #GreenManhattanProject
#GreenManhattanProject is the only thing that will save us in the long run.
Had we taken a moonshot dive into #GreenManhattanProject 50 years ago, we MIGHT have escaped apocalypse now. But no. Mental masturbation of the left killed it and here we are. Toast.
@nlewis1111.bsky.social #GreenManhattanProject
Not enough. Not fast enough.
We need #GreenManhattanProject.
Moonshot requires circumstances where private sector does not have resources to do something but with a boost from the government can and will run with the ball. Cancer is the most overwhelmingly invested-in goal in the free market today. Biden wasted a clean energy moonshot. #GreenManhattanProject.
Bitcoin mining uses the equivalent of every solar panel on the planet. Now ask about concrete, steel, etc.
#e=mc2 #GreenManhattanProject
Yes. Another moonshot!
#GreenManhattanProject
Should have started 50 years ago. If you think solar panels and windmills are going to power us to 2100 you are willfully in denial. Bitcoin mining alone uses the equivalent energy of every solar panel on the planet. Just LOOK at the projections. 1/2
Should have put money and research into SMRs to be targeted to things like data mining, cement burning, steel production etc. #GreenManhattanProject.
Stick to the more manageable key to it all: #GreenManhattanProject.
All these issues come down to clean, green electricity. Imagine if we started at the arbitrary date of the first Earth Day in 1970 with an all-out moonshot program, #GreenManhattanProject aimed at leapfrogging current nuclear technology and tap the unlimited power of e=mc2. (*pop!* then I wake up.)
We have been in an unacknowledged race against time to crack nuclear engineering for limitless clean energy…and a host of other almost alchemic benefits. Imagine if our response to 3 Mile Island had instead been a moonshot like #GreenManhattanProject where we might be today? Whoopsie. Trump.
I was in college supporting the first Earth Day, and one of only a few who advocated for a crash, moonshot #GreenManhattanProject to tap into e=mc2 in order to hit the brakes on fossil fuels and MAYBE avoid the worst. You can imagine how Greenpeace treated us. We are now exactly where we few saw us.
Imagine if we had undertaken a moonshot scale #GreenManhattanProject in 1970 and harnessed e=mc2 to slam the brakes on fossil fuels. We might have dodged the bullet. But no.
“Butbutbut….THE PRICE OF EGGS!”
E=mc2. #GreenManhattanProject
We need real, far thinking solutions. There is only one way to go to get us to and through the 22nd century (Nevermind the stars.) e=mC2 #GreenManhattanProject.
