It's February, it has been sleeping and raining all day. But we have a freezer filled with peppers from the summer. I made a nice roasted pepper sauce. Naturally sweet, with a kick of spice, a sprinkling of romano and lots of love.

First* fig from my new tree!! 😍🌳

*OK, so it’s the only fig for the whole season, but to be fair, it was delicious, the tree is barely a year old, and growing anything in Esperance’s sad excuse for soil (dust) is an achievement 🎉
