Finally found a texture workflow that I like! I want a pixel art look, but I'm bad at it and hate doing it, so it's not a matter of 'just practice'. I made this using Substance Painter along with a filter called Pixel8r and I LOVE this.

Animations are just key frames and some procedural stuff for now, until I get sick of tweaking flight params and go back to blender.
