The Bombay Panjrapole is hidden in a maze of little streets in Bhuleshwar. It is a two acre shelter that looks after hundreds of cows, as well as other rescued stray animals and birds. It was established in 1834 by businessmen Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy and Amichand Shah, with the support of philanthropist Cowasjee Patel (After whose Name C.P.Tank came to be known). The intention was to look after stray dogs and pigs, which the British had ordered to be shot at night. Source https://zoroastrians.net/2023/06/12/bombay-panjrapole-2/
