A bill giving schools the option to arm teachers is still alive in the Iowa House Teachers who are trained and pass a background check could get a permit to carry guns in schools under a bill passed by the Public Safety Committee in the Iowa House.

If this happens I feel it will not end well. More guns is not the answer.
