“Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Is this really a problem in our schools? I mean, you can get married at 16 in South Carolina, so we suppose it it could be relevant to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

“Thou shalt not kill.” Now we’re at least getting to something many of us can agree upon. Then again, so many people kill animals. South Carolina even kills humans, most recently with a firing squad. Let’s keep the 10 commandments out of public schools.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” Again, this isn’t exactly great moral wisdom. Different sects keep different sabbath days, and they observe it (or not). Most importantly, this commandment certainly violates both the South Carolina and the US Constitutions.
