#MediaAlert A USYD-led innovation is saving lives in hospitals. The #HIRAID system gives nurses a clear framework for assessing and managing patients after triage, with a 7.4 percent drop in rapid response calls. Lead researcher Prof Kate Curtis says the impact on #PatientSafety has been profound.

Introducing HIRAID® Inpatient- Responding to sector demand, a standardised, ‘whole-of-patient’ nursing framework for hospital inpatients. HIRAID® Inpatient will be designed to support nurses in optimal patient assessment and escalation of care of deteriorating patients.
