Rin lives in a world where demons / spirits / curses - whatever you'd like to call it exist, tho only some have the ability to sence or even see them. She once woke up in the middle of the forest, having no memory of her life and all. Wandering throught the forest for some time, she met a group of so-called "hunters". At first, the group acted hostile, but some events lead to her "turning" and taking down a hostile spirit who've attacked the group. The hunters then decided to keep her as a secret weapon tho still treating her as an enemy. Simce then they started to call her "Rin" due to her still not being able to remember anything. It took a lot of time for her to gain their trust and becoming on of them, a rightful member
