They feed hungry insects right now & are larval food plant (w/ Dog violet) of some Fritillary sps. here the Dark Green 👇

It was cold cold cold today on my favourite hill where a beautiful #Hairyviolet was out on the south side of one of the many #anthills that provided a slightly warmer & more fertile .. rabbits 🙄 .. place to grow.
