I wanted to quit at various points during the first 3 eps (hate the sister, and the uncheck power in leaders…). But it was good at the end. And love the three main characters.

I'm still super pissed that Netflix didn't do another season of #HalfBad. It's so awesome.
I haven't heard anyone talk about "Half Bad: The bastard son and the devil himself." It's so fun. It's got all the magic and lore with a decent universe. Acting and writing are great. The writing isn't ground breaking Its fantastic. I love magic in modern world.

I miss this show so much! The books #HalfBad by Sally Green were absolutely phenomenal. Despite #TheBastardSonandtheDevilHimself not recreating it 1:1, the show did the story justice.
And to leave us with on a cliffhanger after such an emotional scene is CRIMINAL!
Imagine if @netflix.bsky.social realised how popular #halfbad could get on the back of Black Doves, and made a second series.
