#HalloweenMovieNight! Yikes missed a few. On Sun night I watched the HPLHS b&w silent film adaptation of The Call of Cthulhu. Atmospheric, evocative, fantastic. Have you seen it? If not you should, you really really should. Everything HPLHS does is top notch!

#HalloweenMovieNight! Got to one tonight that’s been on my radar for awhile - The Void. What a twisted treat! Tightly paced, gross realistic effects, and cosmic horror. If you’re a fan of dark, bleak horror films, def recommend, but boy howdy does it have some gnarly body horror.

#HalloweenMovieNight! A classic tonight - Sam Raimi’s Army of Darkness. Is it horror? Kinda. Is it fun? Damn right. Love this movie, never gets old, and so much of its dialogue is just a part of my everyday lexicon. Groovy.
