Carrots, Celery and lettuce, though in abundance and marked down in price appears to be largely ignored by Canadian grocery shoppers. The sale notices say it all. Product of America. No thanks, we shop and buy CANADIAN.

And look at this. Even marked down, there is little interest in buying American.
Hopefully the store will pass these on to our meal providers for those who need a hand up.
