Funny bit is is that the big tell tale signs for Harley would be a combination of his tail, ears & eyes. Bit of a shivering, flicking of his tail, eyes being a bit more dilated, ears bit more laid back & twitching (relaxed as opposed to stressed).

Though not strictly picky, Harley tends to lean heavily towards a combination of [a few shades of] Red, a few shades of [specifically Hunter] Green & either Pink or purple. All usually paired with either White or Black.

Not sure if it makes sense, though Harley will tend to wear w/e they're wearing in the moment, though he tends to try to go for certain aesthetics depending on the job he's on at the time. It may also vary depending on the time of the year & weather.

Given his......unique circumstances, he's liable to get the surprise of his life for a moment before being flattered & happy. As he's already had a child just recently, he'd be more than willing to adopt said new youngin' under his wing.
