We are starting a short block of health walks on a Mondays. We will be starting from the adventure playpark in Craigmillar Castle Park at 10am and walking for around 45mins then there is an invitation to join us for some tea in the park. #healthwalks
Join us for some led walks in Little France Park. There are nature walks on Tuesdays from the Institute for Regeneration and Repair (North). On Thursdays there are health walks leaving from the Royal Infirmary. #healthwalks
We had a lovely walk with our Oxgangs walkers around Braidburn Valley Park. We appreciated seeing the willow project being carried out along the banking. #healthwalks
We took a cautious approach to our Redhall walk by going along the canal to Hailes Quarry Park. Along the way, we spotted more fallen trees, spring bulbs reaching for the sun and a beautiful pair of Gooseander who were feeding on fish. #healthwalks
This week our Morningside walking group went to the canal with lots of birdsong, crocuses and lovely company. #healthwalks

We found plenty to be happy about on our adventure around Colinton Dell. We spotted a Cormorant feeding in the river, a Jay bird and spotted bright fungus, which was home to secretive mini-beasts. It was great to catch up with some walkers who haven't been out in a while. #healthwalks
What a fabulous day to explore Easter Craiglockhart Hill with our Thursday Nordic walking group. We were delighted to spot a Kestrel and Buzzards hunting, some beautiful Scarlet Elf Cup fungus and stunning views of the Pentland Hills. A great workout for mind and body #healthwalks

Our Oxgangs walkers were back exploring Redford Woods. We're delighted to discover lots of spring plants coming through the leaf litter, including some flowering Snowdrops. We also spotted Hazel catkins and some interesting fungus. It's great to get out and see seasonal changes. #healthwalks
During our first 2025 walk with our Redhall Group, we were delighted to find some signs of early spring! Daffodils and Snowdrops are beginning to peek out from the undergrowth. Great to get out and have some fresh air with fellow walkers. #healthwalks
