I missed that it's #HepatitisAwarenessMonth. My late father died of Hepatitis B, which turned to liver cancer, when he was 44 years old. My Hep B infancy shot gave me antibodies and I finished a 3-dose redo of my Hep B shots just a few months ago so now my antibodies are "immunity" status.

Every year, around 700,000 people will die from liver cancer, with many of those deaths at least partially attributable to hepatitis. But this is not inevitable.
