#Highfolk deep lore nerd fact: Another name for the upper Velverdyva River is a “Quagflow”, as it empties Lake Quag in Perrenland. Passing between the Yatils and Clatspurs via a deep canyon called the “Gate of the Velverdyva”, it serves as the demarcation line between those ranges. #greyhawk #dnd
#Highfolk lies on the upper reaches of the Velverdyva River, one of the Flanaess' most important trade arteries. Barges from Perrenland and beyond carry rare goods, and river piracy, smuggling, or escort work are common adventure hooks.
