#histficmay - my last one! What's the next histfic book I am going to write? Well I am currently writing a Victorian Gothic called #ravenscourt which I describe as 'Rebecca' meets 'Mrs England'! It is set in Venice, London and the moors of Manchester. I am busy editing at the moment....

My next #HistFic to be published is The Stolen Sister, set in rural Wales and beautiful Crete. I’m at the self-editing stage before the deadline for submission on 16th June. After that, ideas are whirling in my head for a novel about grandmothers and granddaughters.

I think I'd quite like to go back to writing my YA historical fiction. Maybe something set a little later - I haven't attempted a historical one set after the 16th century.

The next HistFic is going to be… A Bastard’s Progress. Assassination attempts, pageantry, hunting, manhunts, hangings, battles, traitors it’s got it all! If I can just keep focused!

My next histfic book is a follow up to Peggy’s story, featuring her friend Kathleen who is a Belfast handywoman (uncertified midwife).

But it’s 1941 and the Belfast Blitz is about to happen…

I'm working on a linked book to the Viking Trading Lands focused on a central character to Serve the Worthy. It's dramatic, scheming, a bit of romance, some Viking Age magic/prophecy, and a whole lot of suspense and the beginning of a new duology.
