So, yeah, #HollywoodNetflix starts off uneven, but it finally coalesces into a more cohesive historical piece and a good alt-history about underrepresentation. It probably could've been a lot better, but for what it is, it works.

Watching #HollywoodNetflix , and my worst fears were somewhat confirmed.
A lot of good underrated Hollywood history being shown (including mentions of Oscar Micheaux and Bugsy Siegel), but also a lot left out and it seems very... neoliberal in its outlook on classic Hollywood.
