Yesterday I walked in the #HonoluluPride parade from Magic Island thru Waikiki to the Waikiki Shell. In this tank top, I gave/received 40+ hugs during parade and at festival.
A young adult woman said it meant a lot because her dad passed away last year. She teared up as I gave her a 2nd helping. ❤️

I am taking the selfie in front of a mirror hanging on my door so you can see the back of my shirt which has characters from the Heartstopper graphic novel celebrating at a Pride event. They are holding different Pride flags, including the general Pride flag and also an aro flag and an ace flag.

Today was my first ever #HonoluluPride. I got emotional seeing the demisexual and asexual flags. There were only 3-4 instances of aspec flags that I noticed in the entire 1.5 hr parade, but having that representation mattered. I need an aroace flag and individual aro and ace flags for next year!
