Prohibition of ranked choice voting. Author Senator Blake Doriot, Senator Chris Garten, Senator Mike gas kill republican. Preemptively prohibits the use of ranked choice voting in Indiana elections. This means that voters will not be able to rank candidates by preference, and elections will continue using traditional voting methods. This bill doesn't resolve low voter turnout or improve voter access. The status on this bill is that it's past the second reading, step two of eight steps. Call to action. Call your state senator at 317-232-9400.
SB 012 restricts voter choice. Ranked-choice voting is already used in places like Maine and Alaska, and lets voters express their preferences without “wasting” votes. Banning won’t fix turnout or trust—it just limits Indiana’s future. Tell your state senator to vote NO on SB 012. #HoosierActivism

Precinct committee person how to file. Check eligibility. Did you vote democratic in their last primary election? If not, ask your county chair to certify you. Fill out the can 37 form – declaration of Canada for precinct committee person in 2026 available on the Secretary of State website. File with a county clerk between January 7 and February 6 by noon. Get elected at the May 5 primary you will be listed on the ballot more than one person filed for the precinct to reside in. if you miss filing or did not win your election if they are open precinct in the county vote for the Democrat leadership every four years, register your neighbors to vote, appoint Democratic coworkers during the election. PCs vote for the county party committee. The next Democratic organization is March 2029.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Statement from Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) made the following statement today regarding the possibility of redrawing Indiana’s congressional maps mid-cycle: STATEHOUSE (Nov. 14, 2025) – “Over the last several months, Senate Republicans have given very serious and thoughtful consideration to the concept of redrawing our state’s congressional maps. Today, I’m announcing there are not enough votes to move that idea forward, and the Senate will not reconvene in December.”
