New Alfa health plan bill to start in House with public hearing
Alfa officials and sponsor Rep. David Faulkner, R-Mountain Brook, say the oversight and additional provisions in House Bill 447 are an effort to compromise and move the proposal needed to help farmers paying high insurance premiums, often to the detriment of their farms.
