This time last year, we reached the halfway mark of #HudsonSwim2023. While this section of the river may seem pristine, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) still linger in the ecosystem. A sobering reminder of the lasting impact our actions have on the environment 💧⏳🏞️
Lewis took the first stroke of the #HudsonSwim2023 exactly a year ago today. From a river long exploited by industry to one that has been nurtured and restored by dedicated citizens over the past 50 years, its story embodies hope 🏞️💙🌍
