Currently there are no boil or do not drink notices for water in Santa Clarita but I don’t see how it would be safe as the #HughsFire burned right around the water treatment plant. Local water utilities, health departments, and fire departments are always criminally late to announce water issues 😡
View from the park next door to where I live. Smoke from the #hughsfire (Santa Clarita) blowing behind the northern hills all the way out to #Ventura. I wish the winds would stop and we could get some rain.
I am far away from the #hughsfire but a friend's family, already displaced to a temporary home while their own home gets fixed up for reasons not related to any fires, can see it from the home she's staying in. They've got multiple dogs so will have to evac if it gets much closer. ☹️
Oh my god, another fire has exploded near LA at Lake Castaic. It's moving really fast. We're not close to this one, but my heart is breaking for the people dealing with yet another one. We can see the smoke from our window
