A hypnotic eye vintage 1950s 60s handmade sterling silver with metales (brass) black onyx and turquoise Mexican modernist brooch pin by maestro Tono of Taxco and from his early 'piedra negra' line of jewelry. A striking and entirely handmade work of art to wear! Measures 2-1/4" by 1-1/8", and weighs a hefty 22 grams total. Marked at back as shown, "Tono Piedra Negra Hecho en Mexico", also "Sterling 925 Taxco" in a circle around "AC", and early design number "T27". Excellent vintage condition.
