🎤 Closing the session, Barbière Julian, Head of Marine Policy & Coordination at IOC @unesco.org, welcomed three new Decade Alliance members: The Nippon Foundation, the #IHOhydro, and the President of #Kenya—bringing the total commitments to 25 and counting.

🔹 Dr Mathias Jonas, Secretary General of the #IHOhydro, called for all marine sectors to unite and pool resources to accelerate progress.

@unesco.org,reminded us that collective action is needed to advance seabed mapping.

🇲🇨 As the Seabed 2030 #BathySphere begins its journey to the UN Ocean Conference, it makes a fitting stop at the #IHOhydro Secretariat in Monaco — a place of significance to GEBCO, which operates under the joint auspices of the IHO and UNESCO Ocean.
