We need to think clearly about what we are asking of parents and children, when it comes to homework and active ingredients.
We also need to make sure that we are teaching SLT/Ps how to coach parents and educators, as this is a vital element of therapy.

Even with a lower dose, explicit approaches have been found to be more effective than implicit approaches. Children must have some metalinguistic awareness, but this can be supported by signing.
