Yes, their business model is based on running adverts which pay for the content. That doesn't change the fact that I hate adverts. I do our grocery shopping and I deliberately stop using products if they run adverts which piss me off, with Galaxy, Werthers and Lindor being great examples.

Football is much more bearable than something like #Imaceleb or #Gogglebox, for example

They show the ads when the players aren't playing, which are the times that I leave the room anyway

Whereas constant ad breaks drive me away from the TV and back to my PC, especially now ad breaks last so long

#ImACeleb slips over 1.3m from last week’s high, but remains firmly ahead of all competition. #StrangerThings returned with its fifth season, reaching an impressive 4.5 million with its first episode within a week of release.

#ImACeleb continued to reign supreme as it tops the charts for another week with a high of 8.25 million, somewhat down on last week’s peak, but on par with the average audience for the rest of the series.
