And the thing is- Sarah didn’t run as a “trans” lawmaker, she ran as a person who cares about the state and our citizens. She ran to make our lives better and Republicans intend to make her life hell. #istandwithsarah

I met Sarah McBride in 2016 at the @victoryinstitute.bsky.social #LGBTQLeadersConference before she was elected to the DE Senate let alone Congress. She is smart & well-spoken yet like many of us #LGBTQ, she’s well versed in being treated poorly and having to rise above. #istandwithsarah

This is why Republicans keep winning: the minute a Dem does something that some see as going a line, leftists pounce on them and throw them to the wolves. They have no concept of strategy or ceding ground to gain a better defense.
